DEANNA LYNNE JONES

Deanna Lynne Jones, 69 of Holden, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Lee’s Summit, Medical Center.

Deanna was born July 30, 1957, in Missouri, to Gary Wayne and Myrtle (Hensley) Jones. She graduated from Holden High School in 1975 and later earned a bachelor’s degree in education from CMSU. She worked as an insurance adjuster with Geha Insurance for 15 to 20 years.

Deanna’s hobbies and interests included serving as VFW Past District 6 President and participating in the VFW Auxiliaries in Belton and Holden, the D.A.R., and Warrensburg Chapter 3 O.E.S.

She is survived by eleven loving cousins and many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden with Rev. L. David Mortenson officiating.

Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Warrensburg.
