Dennis N. Pine

Dennis N. Pine, 71 of Holden, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Dennis Pine was born May 27, 1955 in Holden, the son of Raymond H. Pine and Edith (Day) Pine. He was a lifelong resident of Holden. He graduated from Holden High School, Class of 73.

In years past, Dennis was employed with the Holden Water department, Holden Schools, Essex and Gilcrest. More recently, he worked for MoDOT, until retiring in 2017.

He was a car enthusiast, particularly Fords and he enjoyed attending care shows. He also enjoyed going deer hunting and riding his motorcycle in years past. Dennis was a member of Community of Christ Church in Holden.

Survivors include his sister, Susie Pine of Warrensburg, and his significant partner, Patricia Wolfenbarger of Holden, one uncle, Dan Day (Carolee) of Washington, numerous cousins, and his 4-legged friends Tinkerbell and Tabby. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden. Visitation will be one hour prior to service Saturday, at Williams.

Memorial Contributions may be left to Fairview Cemetery in care of the Holden Community of Christ Church.
