Glenda Ellen Frazier

Glenda Ellen Frazier, 64 passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday, July 12, 2024 at her home.
Glenda was born March 13, 1960 in Warrensburg, Missouri the daughter of Glen Ellis Harvey and Miriam Ruth (Titus) Harvey.
She graduated from Holden High School, Class of 78. She was married to Steven Eric Frazier, Sr. on September 17, 1977 at their home in Holden.
For many years, Glenda was a stay at home mom. When her children were raised, she then went back to school to further her education. She graduated from Longview Community College with an Associate Degree in Computer Programming and then from State Fair Community College with a Degree in Medical Billing and Coding.
Glenda was employed at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for a time as well. She then took time off work so her and her sisters could care for their mother.
Later, she worked at Dillard’s and Macy’s where she found her passion for helping people by sharing the gospel and leading others to faith in Christ. This led her to write a book titled, “Living A Life Of Purpose On Purpose”.
She also enjoyed doing crafts, notably scrap booking and she especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her three daughters: Stephanie Frazier of Holden, MO; Tierra Frazier (Jeremy Earnhart) of Holden, MO and Erica Poe (Trevor) of Kingsville, MO; six grandchildren: Deja Hutchings of Holden, MO; Savannah Poe of Holden, MO; Quintyn Poe of Kingsville, MO; Landon Poe of Kingsville, MO; Justice Barker of Holden, MO and Malachi Poe of Kingsville, MO; two sisters: Barbara Frazier of Warrensburg, MO and Shari Harvey of Overland Park, KS; Glenda’s spiritual guide and dear friend, Kevin Drake and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son: Steven Eric Frazier, Jr. and three brothers: Thomas Bright, Jr, Ronald Bright and William Johnson.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 5, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville, with full military honors provided by Munday-Hancock Post #90 of the American Legion, VFW Post #5844, and the United States Army Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be left to the Glenda E. Frazier Memorial Fund in care of Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden.
