“Passion” Gathers to Help Find A Cure, Battle All Types of Cancer

Passion For The Cure, a local group dedicated to fighting various types of cancer and providing assistance to both sufferers and caretakers, held its annual gathering Sunday, Oct. 11 at the Hallar building in Holden.

The event, which took place from 2-4:00 p.m. included a featured speaker, refreshments, a silent auction and a quilt raffle to generate proceeds to help battle the disease.
All funds will go to the Johnson County Cancer Foundation.
