Lady Eagles Wrestlers Edged In Conference Dual Opener

Hosting Higginsville to open the MRVC-East wrestling duals season, the Lady Eagles wrestling team fell to the Lady Huskers by the final team score of 41-36 Tuesday, Jan.

Lady Eagle wrestlers Haley Brooks at 120 pounds and Taylor Hubbard at 170 pounds each recorded wins by pin versus their Lady Husker opponents.

Lady Eagle wrestlers recording wins by forfeit included McKenna Harstsell, Mila Turpin, Ady Yoder, and Layla Seiz.

The Lady Huskers totaled their team score on four wins by pin, one win by technical fall, and two wins by forfeit.
