Goldie Cozette Mann

Goldie Cozette Mann, 86, of Kingsville, Missouri, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Holden Manor in Holden, Missouri.
She was born on Thursday, March 2, 1939, in Kingsville to the late Jennings and Marie (Riddle) Sechrest. Goldie graduated from Kingsville High School in 1957.
On November 7, 1958, Goldie married Joseph Eldon Mann of Grain Valley, Missouri. Together they purchased land and built their forever home in Kingsville, Missouri where they shared 67 years of devoted marriage until Joe’s passing on March 17, 2024.
Goldie began her working career as a switchboard operator at the Elm Springs, Missouri telephone office. She later spent many years in manufacturing, working for Western Electric in Lee’s Summit, Armco Steel, and Bendix in Kansas City, Missouri.
A faithful member of Forest Grove Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, Missouri for more than 75 years, Goldie lovingly served in many positions within the church throughout her life.
Goldie enjoyed gardening, baking, reading, bowling, and most of all, time spent with her family.
She will be remembered always as a loving mother, devoted wife, and cherished grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Mann; her parents, Jennings and Marie Sechrest; two sons, William Mann and Eddie Mann; brothers James Sechrest, Earl Sechrest, and Joe Sechrest; and her sister, Annabelle Farris.
Those left to honor her memory include: her daughter, Debra Worth and husband Steve of Kingsville; her son, Phillip Mann of Kingsville; her brother, Clarence Sechrest of Pleasant Hill; her sister, Lillan Taylor of Holden; and her daughter-in-law, Dee Mann of Kingsville; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation was held Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home, 407 S. Pine St., Holden, Missouri. The funeral service followed with Pastor Michael Wakeman officiating.
Interment took place at Elm Spring Cemetery in Kingsville, Missouri.
Pallbearers were: Greg Anderson, Jessie Mann, Cody Hobbs, and Steven McKinney.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Elm Spring Cemetery in Kingsville, Missouri.
