Frederick James Hanna Jr was born November 5, 1956 and passed away November 24. 2025 at Lee’s Summit Medical Center. He was 69 years old. Fred or Ricky as some people knew him graduated from Holden High School in 1975. After high school he joined the Air Force and was stationed at Little Rock Air Force Base and then Osan Korea with the Red Horse unit. That is where he met his wife Mia. He left the Air Force in 1980 and moved to Southern CA. After the marriage dissolved he moved to Jacksonville AR around many of his Air Force buddies. After a while he returned to southern CA to be around family and stayed there until his devastating brain aneurism in 2001 that left him with full right body paralysis. Fred fought back for many years from that event but with time learned to live independently. He moved back to Holden with his son Tyler in 2002. Holden is where he wanted to raise Tyler. He loved his hometown. Fred used a power chair for mobility and as Tyler affectionately called him -“wheels” would be seen all over town.
