Billie Gene Barton

Billie Gene Barton, 51 of Holden, Missouri passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025 at St. Luke’s East Hospital.

Billie was born June 24, 1973 in Clinton, Missouri to Bill and Carolyn (Daugherty) Barton. He was born with congenital heart disease and endured heart surgeries from birth. Billie was not expected to live to 18 years, but his life defied all odds.

He enjoyed spending time with family and especially with his nieces and nephews. He had an exceptional memory of birthdates, anniversaries and such.

Billie was preceded in death by his sister, Wendy Schwarz and his parents, Bill and Carolyn. He is survived by his sister, Tammy Buchanan of Centerview, MO; 2 nephews, 2 great nephews, 3 nieces and 2 great nieces.

Graveside services were Sunday, May 18, at Shiloh Cemetery, located at 965 SW 151 Rd.; Chilhowee, MO 64733.
Memorial contributions may be left to Shiloh Cemetery Association in care of Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden.
