ROBERT LAVERNE “BOBBY” MORRISON

Robert Laverne “Bobby” Morrison, Jr., 57 of Sedalia, Missouri; formerly of Holden, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025 at Kansas City Hospice House.

Bobby was born October 16, 1967 in Warrensburg, Missouri the son of Robert Laverne Morrison, Sr. and Shirley Jean (Hall) Morrison. He was raised in Holden, having graduated from Holden High School.

Bobby had been employed with several businesses, namely, The Veneer Plant at Pleasant Hill, Heiman’s Hardware in Holden and Rod Hurt for a time. He later moved to Sedalia and was employed with Tyson Foods at the time of his passing.
Bobby was a faithful member of Antioch Fellowship Church in Sedalia, NKA Kingdom Life Church. He enjoyed most anything involving being outdoors, namely hunting mushrooms, fishing, trail hikes and camping. He also enjoyed attending car shows and motorcycle shows throughout the years.

Survivors include two brothers and four sisters: Larry Morrison of Summersville, MO; Jean Harbison (Randall) of Holden, MO; Donnie Morrison (Sandy) of Concordia, MO; Connie Murry (Lynn) of Higginsville, MO; Brenda MacRae (Daniel) of Warrensburg, MO and Becky Langston (Matthew) of Holden, MO; brother-in-law: Jeff Miller of Oak Grove, MO and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by both parents; sister, Bonnie Miller; nephew, Randall Harbison, Jr. and sister-in-law, Patsy Morrison.

Funeral Service were held Monday, February 17 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden with Pastor Steve Graff of Kingdom Life Church and Chaplain Chris Traffanstedt officiating.

The family received friends, one hour prior to service, Monday at Williams.
