Richard Wagoner
Richard Wagoner, age 85 of Boonville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at MU Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
He was born December 8, 1938 in Johnson County, Missouri to Evert and Mary (McNeel) Wagoner.
Richard was united in marriage to Elnora Clifton on November 11, 1959.
They enjoyed many years together with their greatest joy being the birth of their daughter, Jan Marie.
Richard and Elnora lived in Warrensburg for six years before moving to the farm where Richard was raised.
They resided on the farm for 54 years. He worked at Honeywell as an electrician as well as farming and raising cattle.
In 2019, the couple moved to Boonville to be near their daughter and son-in-law.
Richard was a member of the Nazarene Church. Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Elnora of the home and daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Philip Combs of Boonville. Memorial Graveside Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2024 at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Warrensburg, Missouri with Pastor Kevin Mannering of Johnson County Cowboy Church officiating.
