Joseph Eldon Mann

Joseph Eldon Mann, 87 of Kingsville, Missouri passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Pleasant Hill Health and Rehab in Pleasant Hill, Missouri.

He was born Wednesday, September 2, 1936, in Oak Grove, Missouri, to the late Carrol and Nora (Bolling) Mann.

He married Goldie (Sechrest) Mann on November 7, 1958; they spent the next 65 happy years together.

Joe graduated from Grain Valley High School in Grain Valley, Missouri.

He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He attended and was a member of Forrest Grove Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, Missouri and Community of Christ Church in Kingsville, Missouri.

Joe worked and retired as an Iron worker. He loved hunting, fishing, cattle farming, gardening, doing work within his church and spending time with his kids and grandchildren.

In his younger years he enjoyed running and even ran cross country in high school where he won several competitions and awards.

Joseph will be greatly missed by all his family and friends that loved him so much.

Surviving is his wife Goldie of the home; three sons, William Mann of Pleasant Hill, Eddie and (wife Dee) Mann of Kingsville, and Phillip Mann of Kingsville; one daughter, Debra Worth and (husband Steve) of Kingsville, MO; one brother, Lonnie Mann of Pleasant Hill; one sister, Donna Church of Pleasant Hill; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Garnett Sahlberg and Ruby McKinney.

The family received friends at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Campbell-Cast Funeral Home located at 407 S. Pine St. Holden, MO 64040

A funeral service followed at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home.

Interment followed in Elm Springs Cemetery, Kingsville, MO. Casket Bearers were: Greg Anderson, Jessie Mann, Cody Hobbs, Steven McKinney.
