Donna Jean Sears

Donna Jean Sears, 89 of Kingsville, Missouri passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at her home in Kingsville.

She was born Thursday, November 8, 1934, in Green City, Missouri, to the late Gloster Pfeiffer and Margaret (Bookout ) Pfeiffer.

She was a graduate of Green City High School. She married Jim Sears on January 26, 1952. They spent 72 happy years together; he survives of the home.

Donna worked in the food service industry at the Foundry Kitchen in Kingsville. She was a member of the Kingsville Christian Church.

She enjoyed bowling, traveling, and gardening. Most of all she loved going to her grandchildren’s activities and being their biggest fan. Donna will be forever remembered as a loving mother, a doting grandmother, and a caring wife.

Surviving are her husband, Jim Sears of the home; one son, Jeff (Bernadette) Sears of Louisburg, KS; two daughters, Jamey (Mickey) Fleeman of Pleasant Hill, MO and Deborah Fleeman of Kingsville, MO; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Johnny Sears.

The family received friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home, located at 407 S. Pine St., Holden, Missouri.

A funeral service followed on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home.

Interment followed in the Kingsville cemetery. Casket bearers included: Jason Brown, Beau Fleeman, Joey Fleeman, Vincent Sears, Larry Weir, Jordan Brown. Honorary casket bearers were: Zach Honeycutt, Mickey Fleeman, Lewis Phelps, grandchildren & great grandchildren.
