Lady Eagles Volleyball Team Wins Lexington Tournament

The Holden Lady Eagles volleyball team swept through the Lexington Volleyball Tournament to capture the first-place trophy on Saturday, Sept. 9.
Wins over Lexington JV (25-12, 25-8), Wellington-Napoleon (25-20, 25-14), Northland Christian (25-21, 25-22), and Lafayette (St. Joseph) (25-20, 25-14) moved Holden into the championship game of the tournament.
The Lady Eagles faced off against Northland Christian in the title match with Holden taking the trophy win by a 2-0 (25-19, 25-22) final score.
All-Tournament Team
For their play in the Lexington Tournament, Lady Eagle players Izzy Guinn, Cami Gibson-Agee, and Alex West were named to the Lexington All-Tournament Team.
