Thomas Allan Craig

Thomas Allan Craig, 88 of Centerview, Missouri passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Tom was born February 20, 1938 in Holden, Missouri the son of James Allan Craig and Marjorie Jean (Morhart) Craig. He graduated from College High in Warrensburg and subsequently graduated from CMSC in Warrensburg and earned a degree in Civil Engineering from Missouri University in Rolla.

His passion in life was farming. When he retired from the Army of Corp of Engineers, he started farming full time.

Tom was united in marriage to LaJuana Sims on March 27, 1959 in Warrensburg.

He served on the Johnson County Soil and Water Conservation district board, the South Fork Blackwater Watershed district board, both of which he served as the treasurer and he also served on the board of PWSD #2.

He enjoyed collecting and restoring pedal tractors as well as other numerous toy farm equipment.

Survivors include his wife, LaJuana; daughter, Kimberly Allgood of Holden, MO; son, T. Douglas Craig (Kristi) of Iona, MO and daughter, Kelley Hunt of Sun Lake, AZ; sister, Carol Keth (Ken) of Eustis, FL; grandchildren: Craig Allgood of Milan, MO; Lauren Kirchhoff (Tim) of Concordia, MO; Emily Westermier (Steven) of Sedalia, MO; Elizabeth Dunkle (Thomas) of Centerview, MO; Kaitlyn Hunt (Alex) of Wylie, TX; Allison Digos (J.J.) of Queen Creek, AZ; Garrett Hunt of Louisville, TX and Lexi Hunt of Independence, MO and nine great grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Don Craig and sister, Judy Huffman.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden.

Interment will follow at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
