Michael Shane Zvacek

Michael Shane Zvacek, 56 of Holden, Missouri passed away Monday, May 25, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Michael was born July 5, 1969 in Clinton, Missouri, son of Jerry K. Zvacek and Mary Jane (Schroeder) Zvacek.

He graduated from Holden High School, Class of 87.

He was united in marriage to Cheryl Ruth Shroyer on July 14, 1990 in Odessa, Missouri.

Mike was employed with Stahl’s for many years. He enjoyed working on his farm.

Survivors include his wife: Cheryl; daughter: Ashley Duncan (Jeffrey) of Holden, MO; son: Alan Zvacek (Carol) of Holden, MO; sister: Lisa Pemberton (Joel) of Holden, MO; stepmother: Pat Zvacek of Springfield, MO; grandchildren: Toby Duncan (Mikayla), Jarren Duncan (Makinzie) and Tam Duncan; great grandchildren: Casey Everett Gene Duncan and Jace Gayle Duncan; mother- in-law and father-in-law, Kermit and Ruth Shroyer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry Wayne Zvacek.

Funeral Services were held Friday, May 29 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden with Pastor Mike Wakeman officiating.

Interment followed in the Holden Cemetery. The family received friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Williams.

Memorial Contributions may be left to Johnson County 4-H or Johnson County Cancer Foundation in care of Williams.
