Lillian Marie Taylor

Lillian Marie Taylor (Sechrest), age 89, passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, December 3, 2025, at her home in rural Kingsville, MO.

She was born on Friday, August 14, 1936, daughter of the late Jennings and Marie (Riddle) Sechrest.

Lillian began her career as a teacher in a one-room schoolhouse. Throughout her life, she worked in many different roles while lovingly raising her family.

She retired from Stahl Specialty Co. in 1992. She was a devoted member of Forest Grove Baptist Church, where she enjoyed attending services and serving in various church activities. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Goldie Mann, Lee Anna Bell Farris; three brothers, Earl Sechrest, James Sechrest, Joe Sechrest; two grandsons, Brian McCurdy, Brandon McCurdy; one infant granddaughter Sherri Ann Taylor; one infant grandson Troy James Taylor.

Lillian is survived by her beloved husband, Darrel of 69 years of the home; three sons, Terry Taylor (Emily), Jerry Taylor, Gary Taylor (Edie); two daughters, Toni Bradley (Mike) and Donna McCurdy (Darrell); several grandchildren, several great grandchildren; one brother, Clarence (Carol) Sechrest. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on December 12, 2025, at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home located at 407 S. Pine in Holden, Missouri.

Funeral service will follow at 2 pm. on December 12, 2025, at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at the Elm Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Taylor, Jacob Taylor, Jerry Taylor, Gary Taylor, Mike Bradley and Darrell McCurdy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Elm Spring Cemetery in Kingsville, Missouri.
