Paul Henry Hilke

Paul Henry Hilke, 75 of Holden, Missouri passed away Monday, October 20, 2025 at his home.
There was a Celebration of Life Service Tuesday, October 28 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden, with interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, also in Holden.
The family received friends, one hour prior, Tuesday at Williams.
Paul was born July 25, 1950 in Holden, son of Leo G. Hilke and Rosalie L. (Daldrup) Hilke.
He graduated from Holden High School, then served in the U. S. Army.
He worked at Stahls as a Millwright before starting his own portable welding business.
When Paul retired, the couple moved to Lake of the Ozarks before returning to Holden in 2015.
Paul loved to BBQ and everyone enjoyed his homemade sauce. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and drinking beer with all his friends.
Survivors include his wife Cathy, of 52 years and three sisters: Donna Wheldon (Jack) of Independence, MO; Jean Meads (David) of Warrensburg, MO and Ruth Crigger of Olathe,KS. Brother- in-law Otto Viets (Dawn) of Carl Junction, MO; Sister- in- law Jeni Ryan of Mesa, AZ, several nieces, nephews and exceptionally close family friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert Hilke and sister, Sheila Hilke.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Heart of America Chapter in honor of Paul’s niece Caitlyn O’Connor (2405 Grand Blvd., Suite 520 Kansas City, Mo. 64108) or to the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Assoc. in care of Williams.
