Lucille Joyce Lefevre

Lucille Joyce Lefevre, 86 of Raymore, Missouri; formerly of Holden passed away Sunday, April
27, 2025 at St. Luke’s East Hospital.

Lucille was born November 16, 1938 in Washington, Iowa daughter of Marion and Irene(Rotenberger) Thompson. She graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic High School in Riverside.

She was united in marriage to Ernest P. Lefevre, Jr. on November 7, 1959 in Riverside. The couple made their home in Kansas City for several years, prior to moving to Grandview, Missouri.

In December 1973 they moved from Grandview to Holden. Residing there until October 2022, when they moved from Holden to Raymore.

Lucille was an avid reader. She loved square dancing and playing cards. She was a past member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, in Holden, where she was a member of the Altar Society.

Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Ernie; six children: Richard “Rick” Lefevre of Blue Springs, MO; Terry Lefevre (Edie) of Adrian, MO; Julie Young of Sagle, ID; Pamela Hensley (Bill) of Lee’s Summit, MO; Kathi Petree (Russell) of Knob Noster, MO and Lori Baughman (Glenn) of Kingsville, MO; two sisters: Norma Eure (John) of Colorado Springs, CO and Jean Porter (Tom) of Manachester, IA; two brothers: Dale Thompson (Barb) of Riverside, IA and Donald Thompson (Sandy) of Wellman, IA; fourteen grandchildren: Amanda Sandlin of Adrian, MO; Ashley LaFollette (Justin) of Adrian, MO; Lisa Link (Ben) of Kearney, MO; Kelli Doerflinger of Sagle, ID; Robert “Bob” Doerflinger (Bonnie) of Sagle, ID; Dustin Hensley (Elizabeth) of Peculiar, MO; Brett Hensley (Lauren) of Raymore, MO; Alexiss Tallant (Riley) of Warrensburg, MO; Amber Petree of Warrensburg, MO; Sara Petree of Casper, WY; Samantha Doty (Amadeus) of Sullivan, MO; Joshua Petree of Grandview, MO; Jake Baughman of Lee’s Summit, MO and Justin Baughman of Lee’s Summit, MO; fourteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Dohrer.

Visitation was Thursday, May 1, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Holden, with a Rosary starting at 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Mass immediately followed the Rosary, with Fr. Curt Vogel officiating.

Interment followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Holden.

Pallbearers were her grandsons.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Assoc. in care of Williams Funeral Chapel.
