Shirley Ann (Eissler) Reynolds

Shirley Ann (Eissler) Reynolds, 74 of Holden, Missouri went to be with Jesus on the evening of April 19, 2025 at Lee’s Summit Medical Center.

She was born on a Monday, 7th of August, 1950 to Otto Eissler and Betty Dale (Lowe) Eissler of Holden. She was the oldest of three children.

Shirley graduated from Holden High School, Class of 68. She graduated from CMSU in Warrensburg, with a degree in elementary education.

Shirley was united in marriage to John Allen Reynolds on March 3, 1972 at the Holden Baptist Temple.

She taught third grade in East Lynn, Missouri for five years, until taking leave to start a family. Shirley was a substitute teacher for many years after, at surrounding school districts.

She was preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-law: Harold and Doris Reynolds; sister-in-law: Sharon Kate Lunt and two precious sons: Eric Allen Reynolds and Jared Andrew Reynolds.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 53 years, John; son: Stephen Reynolds (Sarah Berry) of Warrensburg, MO; daughter: Megan Reynolds – McConnell of Holden, MO; brother: Danny Eissler (Robin) of Holden, MO; sister: Carolyn Eissler Garrett (Gary) of Independence, MO; grandchildren: Marshall McConnell and Millie McConnell; Brock Brody and Bethany Reynolds and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members, friends. She’s also survived by her fur baby, Auggie. Heaven just became much sweeter.

Funeral Services were Tuesday, April 29 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden, with interment to following at Rose Hill Cemetery, near Latour. The family received friends, Monday at Williams.
