Sue Lynn (Middleton) Falscroft

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sue Lynn (Middleton) Falscroft, of Holden, Missouri, age 69, at her home on November 2, 2024.

Sue was born on December 18, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri to Vernon Evan and Pauline Lucille (Bowers) Middleton.

Sue graduated from East High School in Kansas City, Missouri.

She later moved to Holden where she met the love of her life, John Wesley Falscroft.

She was married to John on December 17,1994. Sue and John owned and operated Johnny’s Place (now The Crossing) in Holden until they retired in 1991.

She spent her free time pursuing hobbies such as diamond paintings, spending time with friends, caring for her dog Salvy and watching her beloved Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals play.

Sue is preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, and one niece Trisha (Johnson) Ward.

She is survived by her two sons, Daniel Cowell of Holden, Missouri and David Cowell and wife Stacie (Jones) of Salem, Missouri, one sister: Mary Dunlap of New Martinsville, West Virginia, two brothers: Freddy Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri and Jerry Johnson and wife Carla of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Liam Cowell, Salem, Missouri; Alexandra Cowell, Salem, Missouri; Varick Cowell, College Station, Texas; Linea Reuters, College Station, Texas; niece Michelle Glow, Grain Valley, Missouri; and Michael Glow, West Virginia.

She had many friends and neighbors who appreciated her in countless ways.

Services for Sue will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Animal Wonders www.animalwonders.net, an organization close to her heart.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Campbell-Cast Funeral Home.
