Harold Kelly Conner

Harold Kelly Conner, 60 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away peacefully Thursday, June 06, 2024, at his home in Warrensburg, Missouri. with his loving wife by his side.

He was born Sunday, September 22, 1963, in Kansas City, Missouri. Harold was the only son born to Harold L. Conner and Jessie M. (Main) Conner who had three daughters and five sons as well.

Harold was known to his family and friends as “Kelly,” which was his middle name, and preferred to go by Kelly. He was a 1981 graduate of Van Horn High School in Independence, Mo.

He enlisted in the United States Army and served our country from 1982 – 1985. After his tour in the army, he met the love of his life Shawnda M. Jones, they were united in marriage on Saturday, September 23, 1989, in Warrensburg, Mo where they lived and enjoyed the last 34 years of marriage.

Kelly began working at the University Central Missouri in Warrensburg in April 1990. He was an electrician for 25 years until he retired in 2015.

Kelly enjoyed fishing, shooting and traveling to different places with his wife.

Kelly is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Jessie Conner; brothers, Erik Troy, Robert Troy and Don Allen who passed away as an infant; sister, Peggy Sue Conner.

Surviving his passing are his loving wife Shawnda Conner of the home; two sons, Jacob (Baylee) Conner of Knob Noster, Mo, Dylan Conner of Warrensburg, Mo; his beloved grandchildren Harper Conner, Tucker Conner, Zane Conner and Zariyah Conner; two brothers Connie Troy of Kansas City, Mo and Jerry Troy of Blue Springs, Mo; two sisters, Nancy Snyder of Independence, MO and Kimberly Wettstein of Farley, MO
Kelly’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

A celebration of Life will be held in the banquet room at Players Restaurant 627 E. Russell Ave in Warrensburg, Mo Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 pm.
