Cecil Ray Barker

Cecil Ray Barker, 69 of Holden, Missouri passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at St. Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit.

Cecil was born October 30, 1956 in Strasburg, MO the son of Donald Valentine Barker and Victoria Josephine (Stockdall) Barker.
He was raised in the Strasburg / Kingsville area. He attended Kingsville Schools.

He was united in marriage to Mary Frances White on July 26, 1974 in Bates City. They welcomed their first child in 1975 and had four more children.

Cecil was a devoted husband, father and friend. His wife and kids meant the world to him and he was so very proud of all of them.

He was employed with Stahl’s Specialty until retiring following 37 years of service.

He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and gardening. Most of all, he enjoyed being with his family and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; Daughters: Gina Greufe (Wade) of Holden, MO; Lisa Malicoat of Pleasant Hill, MO; Frances Bracken (Joe) of Harrisonville, MO and April Love (Joshua) of Lee’s Summit, MO and son, Cecil Ray Barker, Jr. of Holden; Brothers: Donald Barker of North Carolina; Billy Joe Barker (Ruth) of Bolivar, MO and Kenneth Barker (Bunny) of Pittsburg, KS; and grandchildren: Olivia Malicoat, Annalise Malicoat, Aaden Lerda, Victoria Love, Elizabeth Love and Maghen O’dower.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Barker.

Funeral Services were Monday, June 29 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden, with interment to following at the Kingsville Cemetery.

The family received friends, one hour prior to service Monday at Williams.
