Kimberly S. Maupin

Kimberly S. Maupin, age 62, of Warsaw, Missouri, formerly of Holden, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the North Kansas City Hospital.

Kim was born on July 8, 1963, in Warrensburg, Missouri, the daughter of William Callaway. She grew up in Holden, graduating from Holden High School in 1981.

On February 20, 1981, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Gary Maupin. Together they built a life in Holden and later in Lone Jack, where they raised their family with deep love and devotion.

Kim dedicated 32 years of service to the IRS in Kansas City, working in Personnel Management. She retired in 2018, embracing a quieter life in Warsaw, where she found joy in her church and her hobbies.

A member of the Church of Living Water, Kim enjoyed diamond dotting and cross-stitch, but nothing brought her greater happiness than time spent with her family—especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Maupin, of the home; three children: Jessica Turner (George) of Cameron, Missouri; Gregory Maupin (Ashley) of Lone Jack, Missouri; and Matthew Maupin (Kati) of Warrensburg, Missouri; eight grandchildren: Alexis Turner (Noah), Zachary Turner (Danielle), Gunner Turner (Jhonna), Autumn Younce (Cody), Keagan Maupin, Briley Maupin, Kylen Maupin, and Hunter Maupin; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Eddie Callaway (Brandy) of Clinton, Missouri, and her sister, Pamela Callaway of Windsor, Missouri.

Kim will be remembered for her warmth, her dedication, and her unwavering love for her family. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Funeral Services were held Monday, December 8, 2025 at the Church of Living Water, 24498 US Hwy 65, Warsaw.

Visitation was one hour prior to the funeral.
