Cinda (Cindy) L. Davis

Cinda (Cindy) L. Davis, 68 of Holden, Missouri passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Pleasant Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Pleasant Hill, Missouri.
Cindy was born September 12, 1955 in Hamburg, Iowa; daughter of George Thomas Erb and Virginia Lea (Maupin) Erb.
She was graduated from Hamburg High School and moved to Missouri in the mid 1980s. Cindy was united in marriage to Tad Davis on December 29, 1988 in Kansas City.
She worked tirelessly alongside her husband, Tad Owners & Operators of Davis Mill-Wright & Construction for over 30 years. It was a small, rural, family owned business.
Cindy was very active in the Holden Community throughout the years. She was a member of the Booster Club as well as many other community organizations.
One of the many projects she and her husband accomplished was constructing the Holden Activity Center for H.O.P.E. Coalition in Holden.
Upon the opening of the Activity Center, Cindy managed, and organized youth basketball leagues and tournaments as well as hosting youth volleyball tournaments, as well as many other events and activities for local kids and adults.
With the help of her husband and youngest daughter Melissa, Cindy spent countless hours of work to serve the Community of Holden.
Cindy was also active in Girl Scouts as well as the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Tad; two sons: Pat Erb of Holden and Mike Alvadore (Kim) of Kingsville; daughters: Melissa West of Warrensburg and Angela Stockton of Texas; sister: Linda Johnson of Holden; two brothers: Les Erb of Nebraska and Jerry Erb (Ann) of California; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 30, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden with Pastor L. David Mortensen officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, located north of Kingsville.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Williams.
