Eric Scott Preston

Eric Scott Preston, 51 of Kingsville, Missouri passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023 in Kansas City.

Eric was born July 16, 1971 in Harrisonville, Missouri the son of David and Lavonne (Holland) Preston.

He graduated from Holden High School, Class of 89 and served as Senior Class President. He also played varsity football.
Eric was currently living at the family farm near Kingsville. He worked for Quality Construction in Holden and also for the railroad, servicing railroad cars. He loved fishing with his friends.

Eric is survived by his son, Adam Preston; parents, David and Lavonne Preston; sister, Christi Allen (Chad Davis); nephews: Dylan and Jared Allen; great niece, Mierabella Allen; brother, Jason Preston (Tonya); niece, Kaitlin Farr (Eric) and great nephew, Colson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 26, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden, with Pastor Mike Wakeman officiating. There will be a private interment at the Holden Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial Contributions may be left to the Holden Cemetery Association in care of the funeral home.
