Wanda Mae Bearce

Wanda Mae Bearce, 79 formerly of Holden, MO passed away peacefully Wednesday December 21, 2022, in Kansas City, MO.
She was born on Sunday October 24, 1943, to Clyde and Geneva (Mansfield) Brown in Kansas City, MO.
Wanda was a homemaker her whole life and loved being a mother. She moved to the Holden area in 1989 and lived here for seven years before moving to Osceola.

Wanda was an avid fisherman and found her peace on the bank of a river. She was a diehard Chiefs fan and loved to cheer for them. Wanda was a loving, down to earth woman who will be greatly missed. The love of her life, Eldon, was waiting for her to celebrate his birthday when she got to Heaven.

Wanda is survived by two sons; Terry L. (Yvonne) Bowen of Kansas City, MO, and Eldon R. Bearce II of Clinton, MO; eight grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Eldon Bearce; son, Bob Bowen, Jr; daughter, Selina Ann Bowen; and sister, Sandra Montenegro.

A funeral service will be held Friday, January 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home, 407 S. Pine St., Holden, MO 64040.

Pastor Michael Wakeman, will be officiating.

Pallbearers include Paul Bailey, Mathew Boyles, Nathan Bone, Donnie Holt, Benjamin Maggard and Joshua Maggard.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to the American Cancer Society of Kansas City, 1100 Pennsylvania Ave., KCMO 64105, in Wanda’s name. Online condolences may be left at www.castfuneralhome.com
