SHARON CARLEEN WINKLER

Sharon Carleen Winkler, 84 of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Sharon was born December 16, 1938 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Carl Ivan and Lillian Jewell Hibner. She was united in marriage to Richard E. Winkler on February 1, 1958 in Kansas City, Missouri. The couple immediately moved to West Palm Beach, Florida to follow Richard’s military career. They resided in West Palm Beach, Florida for two years before moving to Oklahoma, where they resided for another 2 years. They eventually moved back to Kansas City, making that their home before moving to Port St. Lucie, Florida in 2021.

Sharon attended Grace Pentecostal Church and had a passion for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved to sing gospel music with her husband and family. Early in their marriage she taught ceramics. Her favorite hobby was being a phenomenal grandmother and great grandmother and having tea parties with ALL of them.

Survivors include: her husband: Richard Winkler; sons: Lance Winkler (Kelly); Brian Winkler (Cathy); daughter: Stephanie Jacobson; grandchildren: Danielle (Caleb); Sarah (Shea); Gregory (Hannah); Dalton; Calvin (Allison); Taylor (Steven); Austin; Hannah (Ben); Brooke (Jake); Zachary (Emily); Luke (Jessica); Madison; Emerald; and 14 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Carl Ivan and Lillian Jewell Hibner; sisters: Lillian; Carol Lee; Kathleen; and brothers: Raymond and Russel.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Grace Pentecostal Church in Kingsville, Missouri. Interment will follow at the Kingsville Cemetery.

The church will be open to receive family and friends for visitation, two hours prior to service, at the same location.
