Rayne Shields
Rayne Shields, 23 of Holden, Missouri passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 6, 2022 near Odessa, Missouri.
Rayne was born September 5, 1999 in Blue Springs, Missouri, the son of Robert and Leizan (Doubenmier) Shields.
He graduated from Holden High School, Class of 2018. He was a heavy equipment operator with Phillips Hardy, Inc. at the time of his passing.
Rayne enjoyed fixing anything, running heavy equipment, hunting and farming. His work ethic was rare in today’s world but helping others was what he loved most.
Survivors include his parents: Robert and Leizan Shields of the Pittsville Community; the love of his life, Michelle Guinn, of the Magnolia Community; sister, Maze’ Shields of Holden, MO; two brothers, Holden Shields (Ashley) of Holden, MO and Keagan Shields, also of Holden; maternal grandmother, Elsie “Mickey” Doubenmier of Independence, MO; maternal grandfather, Cecil Doubenmier (Linda) of Lafayette, CO; and three nephews, William Hollandsworth, Dakota Smith and Maverick Shields. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marie Shields.
Funeral services were Monday, October 10 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden. Interment followed at New Liberty Cemetery, near Magnolia.
The family received friends Sunday at the chapel.
