KAELYN TULEY
Kaelyn Tuley, 50, of Kingsville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, April 11, 2022.
Kaelyn was born on May 29, 1971 in Harrisonville, Missouri, the daughter of William “Bill” Dawson and Lola (Hancock) Dawson of Kingsville, Missouri.
Kaelyn graduated from Kingsville High School in 1989.
She spent her high school years and a few thereafter working alongside her father in construction, doing jobs such as roofing, welding and painting.
Her hard work ethic led her to a position at Stahl Manufacturing in Kingsville, MO, where she was a dedicated employee for 21 years.
On March 14, 2020, Kaelyn was united in marriage to Walter Ralph Tuley Jr., surrounded by those who loved them most at the chapel on the property of Powell Gardens in Kingsville, Missouri.
Anyone who knew Kaelyn, knew of her tender-hearted, loving, hippie soul.
Known as “Wanda” to those close to her, she loved dancing to a good tune, spending time with her family, loving on her many dogs and relaxing in her zen garden on a warm afternoon.
Her and Walter recently started their dream of homesteading, where they now have one calf, one pot-bellied pig, two rabbits, five dogs, five chickens and a barn.
Survivors include her husband, Walter; daughter, Samantha Christian of Kingsville, MO; son, Clayton Christian of Kingsville, MO; father of Samantha and Clayton, Jerry Lee Christian, Jr., of Holden, MO; mother, Lola Dawson of Kingsville, MO; three stepdaughters, Heidi Tuley and partner, Sammy Hammett of Hamilton, MT, Kelsey Tuley of Mission, KS, and Kayla Tuley of Palmyra, MO; three grandchildren, Stella Haxel, Mabel Tuley and Margo Hammett. She was preceded in death by her father, William “Bill” Dawson. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden, with Pastor Bill Gibbs officiating.
The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the chapel.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Old Drum Animal Shelter in Warrensburg.
