Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt To Be Held April 9
Holden will be holding its first-ever Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt!
Set for Saturday, April 9, the inaugural event will take place at the HHS football field and track.
In the case of a wet field, activities will be moved to the parking lot.
There is no age limit – everyone is welcome to attend!
The special event is exclusively for those with special needs/disabilities.
For those participating who are in wheelchairs, they will hunt for goodies on the track; and those who can walk will search all over the football field for treats and goodies left by the Easter Bunny.
The wonderful community outreach event will begin at 11 a.m., and each participant may have one assistant to help them search for and collect the eggs.
There will be special prizes for finding the golden eggs!
All family and friends of the egg hunters are welcome to come and witness the joy on each face as they locate the eggs and prizes.
There will be a lot of fun activities in addition to the egg hunt, including a bounce house, games with prizes, and much more!
Organizers are seeking donations for game prizes, items to put in the golden egg baskets, candy (individually wrapped), etc.
If you are feeling led to help, donations may be made by calling 816-590-0636 or 660-864-1872.
Hope to see you there! Happy Easter!
