LEE ANDREW RODGERS
Lee Andrew Rodgers, 67, of Holden, MO, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.
He was born September 30, 1954 in Warrensburg, MO, to the late Thomas and Joanne (Coleman) Rodgers.
Lee graduated from Holden High School in 1972.
He soon moved to Grandview to work as a produce stocker at the local grocery store.
While in Grandview, Lee became a dedicated member of the Elk’s Lodge.
After the passing of his longtime partner, Mary Nichols, he moved back to the Holden community to be closer to friends and family.
He loved to play pool and was an active member of the All Aboard Pool League.
He never missed the opportunity to cheer on his beloved Chiefs.
Lee enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors include two brothers, Lyle (Pam) Rodgers of Holden; Lynn (Cinda) Rodgers of Springfield, MO; five nieces and nephews; five great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family received friends from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home.
A funeral service followed at 2 p.m., with Rev. Tim Whitmore officiating.
Interment followed in the Holden Cemetery.
Casket Bearers were Alan Calhoun, Dylan Rodgers, Lynn Rodgers, Lyle Rodgers, Ben Killingsworth and Glenn Sisk.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holden First Christian Church.
