Holy Week, Easter Services Announced
The Season of Lent began on Ash Wednesday, March 2. Lent is a time of preparing our hearts and minds for the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday.
We reflect on the life of the Savior during the 40 days of Lent. Lent ends on Holy Thursday, April 14, and Easter Sunday is on April 17.
Area churches are celebrating this holy season and will be holding special services for Holy Week and Easter Sunday.

Holden Area Ministerial Association (HAMA) Community Easter Sunrise Service – will be hosted by the Holden First Presbyterian Church, located at 501 S. Main St. The Community Easter Service is Sunday, April 17 at 7 a.m., with Pastor Tim Whitmore officiating.
A Community Breakfast will follow at the Holden Presbyterian Church in the fellowship hall. All are welcome.
St. Patrick’s Catholic Church – Holy Thursday Liturgy, April 14 at 7 p.m.; Good Friday, April 15 at 7 p.m.; Celebration of Easter Sunday Mass on April 17 at 10:15 a.m.
Wesley Chapel UMC – will hold a Maundy Thursday Service on April 14 at 7 p.m., and an Easter Sunrise Service on Sunday, April 17 at 6:30 a.m.
Wesley Chapel is located at 1611 NW 200 Rd. in Kingsville.
Kingsville Baptist Church – Watch the Image for updates and scheduled Easter service times.
New Hope Baptist Church – Their Easter Service will be celebrated during the regular morning worship time at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 17.
