AMANDA SIMMONS-TILTON

Amanda Simmons-Tilton, 23, of Holden, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly due to a car accident on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.

She was born on Sunday, December 27, 1998, in Warrensburg, Missouri, to Mike Simmons and the late Courtney (Bishop) Blaszczyk.

She was the fiancé of Troy Tilton. Amanda grew up in Knob Noster, MO and then moved to Holden last year.

She was a dreamer and was okay constantly being on the go, chasing her dreams.

Amanda moved around some, but was happy as long as family wasn’t too far away.

She enjoyed traveling and would visit family out-of-state.

Family was always the most important thing in her life and she loved them dearly.

Amanda liked to cut-up and have fun; she had a bold personality and would let you know how she felt about you.

She was the life of the party and especially loved music.

Everyone would always say, “You can tell what kind of mood Amanda was in by the music she was listening to.”

She enjoyed excitement and loved riding Troy’s Harley.

She was just learning how to ride it.

Her presence will be sorely missed, but her memory will live on through her loved ones.

Surviving are her fiancé, Troy Tilton of the home; one son, Daxton Tilton; father, Mike Simmons of Lincoln, NE; one brother, Hunter Simmons (Tiffany Cool) of Seward, NE; maternal grandparents, Patti Boyd of Des Moines, IA and Kevin Bishop of Carlisle, IA; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of extended family.

Amanda was preceded in death by her mother; Courtney Blaszczyk; and paternal grandparents, George and Juanita Simmons.

A private Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Amanda’s life.
