Rebecca Ann Snare, 53, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, formerly of Holden, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at her home.
Rebecca was born November 19, 1968 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Leonard Dale Snare and Connie Darlene (Higgins) Snare.
She graduated from Holden High School, Class of ’87.
In 2001, she resided in Warrensburg for a brief time prior to moving to Pleasant Hill. Rebecca did auto detail work for a car auction business in years past.
She was employed at KU Medical Center in the medical records department at the time of her passing.
She loved dogs and most anything involving the outdoors. Rebecca’s hobbies also included genealogy and she was a huge Reba McIntyre fan.
Survivors include her sister, Debbie Hill (Ken) of Chilhowee, MO; brother, Jim Snare (Dawn) of Springfield, MO; stepfather, Bob Graham of Holden, MO; cousin, Michael Higgins of Pleasanton, KS; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents, Irvin and Reba Higgins; and paternal grandparents, Hubert and Esther Snare.
A Celebration of Life service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden.
There will be a private interment at the Holden Cemetery at a later date.
