JERRY WAYNE ZVACEK
Jerry Wayne Zvacek, 56, of Corder, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Carmel Hills Nursing Facility in Independence, Missouri. He was born Wednesday, October 6, 1965 in Clinton, Missouri, to the late Jerry Kay Zvacek and the late Mary Jane (Schroder) Zvacek.
Jerry graduated from Holden High School – Class of 1984.
He married Jill (Manning) Zvacek on September 9, 2005, she survives of the home.
Jerry worked as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting. He was an outdoorsman who loved spending time with family at Truman Lake in their camper and on the water.
Jerry will be remembered as a man who truly loved his family and liked nothing more than just being with them.
Spending time with them and his grandchildren was his greatest joy.
He will be truly missed by all who came to know him. Surviving are his wife, Jill, of the home; two daughters, Melissa (Brandon) Hail of Pleasant Hill, MO and Courtney Zvacek of Warrensburg, MO; one stepson, Matthew (Katelyn) Marsh of Corder; two step-daughters, Rebecca Mahnken of Concordia, MO and Kimberly (Louis) Riedl of Warrensburg; one brother, Michael (Cheryl) Zvacek of Holden, MO; one sister, Lisa (Joel) Pemberton of Holden; six grandchildren, Brayden, Lillian, Brookelynn, Anthony, Rylee and Isabelle; step-mother, Pat Zvacek of Holden; in-laws, Don Manning and Kevin Manning, both of Corder, and Beth (Rex) Gash of Higginsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and mother-in-law, Delores Faye Manning.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022, at the Corder Baptist Church, located at 301 N. Main St. Corder, Missouri.
A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the church with Rev. Dr. Greg Fine officiating.
Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Corder.
Casket Bearers will be Russell Bedford, Alan Zvacek, Jeff Duncan, Toby Duncan, Jason Manning and Aidan Manning.
Memorials may be made to the Carcinoid Cancer Center.
