CARL EDWARD HOBBS

Carl Edward Hobbs, 53, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at his home in Kingsville, Missouri.

He was born on November 21, 1967, in Saint Joseph, MO, the son of Russel Hobbs and Dorothy (Clark) Hobbs.

Carl had been a resident of Kingsville, MO since 1982. He attended Kingsville High School, graduating in 1986.

He married Laura (Pemberton) Hobbs, his wife of 23 years, on July 5, 1998, in Branson, MO. Carl worked as an automotive technician with Wal-Mart and was previously employed as a sandblaster with Stahl Specialty Company in Kingsville, MO.

He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and formerly attended St. Joseph Three Angels Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Saint Joseph, MO. Carl was an amazing husband and father who loved his family.

He had many friends and extended family who he was close to.

He loved his Farmall tractors and working on the farm.

Everyone he met became a friend. He never knew a stranger.

Everyone who knew Carl knew that he loved himself a Burger King Whopper.

He was a great man who meant the world to his little family. He will be dearly missed.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Russel and Dorothy Hobbs.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Hobbs, and son, Jacob Russel Edward Hobbs, both of Kingsville, MO.

A memorial service for family and friends, in honor of Carl, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a short service officiated by Pastor Alan Harvey beginning at 7 p.m., on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the Kingsville Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Kingsville, MO (1564 SW, MO-58).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to aid with funeral expenses, may be made to Laura Hobbs or Campbell-Cast Funeral Home (407 S. Pine, Holden, MO 64040).
