Health Expo Offered at Street Fair

Setting Up The Tent… Volunteers set up the tent where the Health Expo will take place.
New to the Holden Street Fair this year is a Health Expo booth!
Sponsored by the Health Team at the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church, the booth down on 2nd St. will have an eight to 12-person health team manning the booth, Thursday through Saturday.
Stop by the booth and get a health age analysis done.
Other checks that you can have at the Health Expo booth include a BMI (body mass index), visceral check, blood sugar, cardio fitness check, air lung capacity test, and much more.
The SDA Health Team contributes a NEWSTART health column each week in The Image.
The healthy lifestyle the Health Team is promoting is referred to as NEWSTART (an acronym developed by an SDA organization), and it stands for Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunshine, Temperance, Air, Rest and Trust in Divine power.
Everyone will have an opportunity to learn about the importance of the eight NEWSTART principles and how they affect your quality of life.
Each person who visits the booth will also receive a copy of America’s longest running health magazine.
Also, wipe away all of your tensions with a relaxing professional chair massage.
“We encourage community members to stop by our health tent and see where they are in their health age and learn what they can do to improve it!” said Health Team member Crystal Reynolds.
“We look forward to learning, growing and sharing together this week,” she added. “We hope everyone will take advantage of this opportunity and come out and enjoy our NEWSTART Health Expo!”
Look for their booth during the Fair and learn a little about your health, how to live a healthy lifestyle, and make some new Christian friends while you’re at it!
