Shane Preston Hutchison, 61, of Greenridge, MO, passed from this worlld to meet his Maker Thursday, May 27, 2021.

Shane was born to Robert Hutchison and Delilah Hutchison (Dee Miller Hughes) on November 19, 1959 in Long Beach, California.

Shane, his brother Chris, and mother, moved to Holden in 1961 at the age of 18 months.

He attended Holden Schools until moving to Warrensburg with his family in 1972.

He loved playing his guitar, he loved fishing and taking his boat out on the water.

Shane loved playing jokes on people, he had a warped sense of humor.

Shane had his own towing business and Hot Shot trucking business.

He was a local police officer for a time.

He drove a truck for several different companies, most recently, Rust Trucking, Stroffard, MO.

Survivors include his wife, Vernonica Burt Hutchison, of the home; son, Jerry Hutchison, Warrensburg, MO; mother, Dee Hughes,  Holden; brother, Chris Hutchison and Sherry, Canyon Lake, Texas; sisters, Genia Miller, Independence and Monica and James Carter, Holden; stepsons, Jason and Justin Huffy; stepdaughter, Nicole Larkin-Nida; granddaughters, Makayla Lanee and Krysta, Knob Noster, MO; and stepson, Benjamin Burt, Columbia, MO. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hutchison; stepfather, Richard Miller; son, Jimmy Hutchison; nephew, Dustin Miller; and grandmother, Maggie Dooley.

Due to his wishes, there will be no funeral service. Friends and family may share memories at his mother’s home in Holden.
