Karen Kay (Combs) Dryer, 73, of Holden, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at the Holden Manor Care Center in Holden, MO.

Karen was born in Ft. Scott, Kansas on February 25, 1948, the daughter of Ralph Combs and Georgia (Haynes) Combs.

She graduated in 1965 from Branson High School in Branson, MO. Karen married Harold W. (Bill) Dryer in 2003 in Virginia.

She is survived by one son, Shane Spear and wife, April of Holden, MO; two daughters, Shellie Deckard and husband, Don of Garfield, AR, Sheila Straight and husband, Chris of Stockton, MO; two brothers, Freddie Combs and wife, Ella Mae of Republic, MO, Ralph Combs of Florence, AL; one sister, Dorothy Combs of Springfield, MO; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Georgia Combs; her husband, Bill Dryer in 2015; and one brother, Bobbie Combs.

Services will be held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO at a later date.
