LOIS CARSON

Lois Carson passed away on February 24, 2021, at the Pleasant Hill Nursing Home.

Lois was born on March 26, 1934 in Kingsville, Missouri, the daughter of Clifford and Hazel Windsor.

Lois graduated from Kingsville High School in 1951.

Following graduation, Lois married Harlan Carson. They celebrated 69 years of marriage last July.

Lois worked as editor of the Pleasant Hill Times for several years.

She then worked as office manager for Metcraft until her retirement.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Sevy.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughters, Gayle Rutherford of Lee’s Summit and Anita McNair of Pleasant Hill; and her sister, Norma Duncan of Pleasant Hill; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at later date.
