SUSAN KAY (JAMES) BLYSTONE

Susan Kay (James) Blystone, 77, of Kingsville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021.

Susan was born in Kansas City, Kansas on Monday, November 29, 1943, the daughter of Kenneth James and Dorothy (Brown) James.

Susan attended Paseo High School in Kansas City, MO, graduating in 1961.

She was a former employee of Railway Express Agency (REA), retiring after 13 years of employment in 1975.

Susan was a loving mother to her son, Wallace.

She was a horse enthusiast and was continually active in her community, as well as in the Holden Saddle Club where she was the Club secretary and a long-time member.

Susan was a dear friend, she loved kidding around and having a good laugh.

She enjoyed helping others and always had a kind smile and a cheerful hello.

She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her son, Wallace L. Blystone Jr. (fiancé, Meg James) of Independence, MO.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth James and Dorothy (Brown) James; and husband, Wallace Blystone, Sr.

A Celebration of Life/Visitation in honor of Susan K. Blystone will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home (407 S. Pine, Holden, MO).

A Private Inurnment will take place at the Holden Cemetery, Holden, MO at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Holden Senior Center (204 W. 2nd St., Holden, MO).
