LEE OLIVER LINN

Lee Oliver Linn, 63, of Holden, Missouri, passed away in Kansas City, Missouri on Thursday, February 18, 2021.

Lee was born in Chatareux, France on January 29, 1958, the son of Samuel Linn and Virginia (Newsome) Linn.

Lee graduated from Belton High School, Belton, MO, the Class of 1977.

He married Peggy Briggs in Belton, MO on May 27, 1977.

Lee and Peggy moved from Grandview, MO to Holden, MO in 1983. Making Holden their home for 38 years.

Lee was a former Distribution Supervisor for Pfizer Inc. in Lee’s Summit, MO. Lee loved to hunt and fish.

He liked coaching the children’s baseball and softball leagues and for his church.

Lee enjoyed archery competitions and raising cattle and chickens on his Hobby Farm.

Lee was a member of the Elm Springs Baptist Church.

Lee is survived by his mother, Virginia Linn of Belton, MO; his wife of 43 years, Peggy Linn, of the home; one son, Eric Linn and wife, Kelly of Raymore, MO; one daughter, Valerie Agcopra and husband, Chris of Holden, MO; one brother, Don Linn and wife, Anita of Lee’s Summit, MO; and four grandchildren, Chance Agcopra, Carson Agcopra, Owen Linn and Harper Linn.

Lee was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Linn.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the Holden First Baptist Church (601 S. Market St., Holden, MO) with Pastor Dennis Chesnut officiating.

A visitation will be at the church before the funeral service, from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holden Area Ministerial Association Food Pantry.
