LEVERT “DALE” PAGE
Levert “Dale” Page, 80, of Holden, Missouri passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
Dale was born on October 16, 1940 in Warrensburg, MO, the son of Levert A.
Page and Effie (Franklin) Page.
Dale attended high school in Higginsville, MO. He married Nita Louise Higgins in 1960 in Higginsville, MO where they lived until 1969.
They relocated to Holden, MO to make their home together until her passing in December of 2015.
Dale was a former member of the Johnson County Coon Hunters Association.
He loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with family and friends.
Dale and Louise loved to dance, western, square dancing and some line dancing.
He enjoyed building, repairing and working on things.
Dale worked as an area line superintendent for West Central Electric after 37 years of employment. He retired in 2000.
After his retirement he enjoyed spending time with family and teaching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren to fish and hunt.
Dale is survived by two daughters, Carla Henry and husband, Ray of Gravois Mills, MO, and Paula McBride and husband, John of Holden, MO; one sister, Irene Fiene of Blackburn, MO; eight grandsons; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Levert and Effie Page; his wife, Louise Page; one son, Michael Dale Page; two brothers, Sherman Shockley and Austin Shockley; and one sister, Norma Shivers.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home, Holden, MO. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home, Holden, MO, with Pastor Michael Wakeman officiating.
Pallbearers will be Christopher McBride, William McBride, Mike Henry, Johnny Henry, Calvin Henry, Tony Page, Daniel Page and Jimmy Page.
Honorary pallbearers are Beatriz Waldo, Samantha McBride, Rocelia McBride, Bailee Henry, Landen Page, David McBride, Jonathan McBride and Logan Henry.
