JACKIE EUGENE TIMMONS
Jackie Eugene Timmons, 84, of Holden, MO, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2020 in Kansas City, MO.
He was born on December 22, 1936 in Holden, MO, the son of Jesse and Virginia “Courtney” Timmons. He graduated from Holden High School, the Class of 1954. Following high school, he was drafted into the United States Army in 1960, where he served in Bamberg, Germany until 1962.
Jack married the love of his life, Nancy Inman, on January 25, 1964 in Pleasant Hill, MO. He was a Deacon at New Life Fellowship in Holden, MO and belonged to Jewel Lodge #480 in Pleasant Hill, MO.
Jack enjoyed working hard for his family and spending time with them, as he felt that faith and family were the most important things.
He loved his siblings, his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren like no other.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, and great-grandson, Noah, of the home; six daughters, Deanna Knox and husband Jim (Holden, MO), Mary Pritts (Holden, MO), Rebecca Timmons (Topeka, KS), Jacquelyn Timmons (Holden, MO), Sarah Olson (Topeka, KS), Sissy Hendee and husband Frank (Unionville, MO); 15 grandchildren, Jessica Peraud, Melissa Folson, Katherine Murrow, Amanda Reinhardt, Virginia Smith, Rebekah Ellison, Austin Tevis, Solomon Tevis, Jackson Correa, Camaron Timmons, Jacob Timmons, Natalie Olson, Cadence Wiley, Reagan Olson and Ella Wiley; 15 great-grandchildren, and one on the way; three brothers, Glenn Timmons and wife, Marilyn (Lenexa, KS), Raymond Timmons and wife, Charlotte (Holden, MO), David Timmons and wife, Judy (Holden, MO); two sisters, Barbara Tokarz and husband, Edward (Peculiar, MO) and Nan Lowery (Holden, MO).
He was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Randy Timmons; and great-nephew, Zachary Timmons.
Visitation was scheduled for Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 4-8 p.m. at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home.
Masonic Rites started at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at New Life Fellowship Church in Holden, MO on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 2 p.m., with Pastor Michael Wakeman officiating.
Interment will follow services at the Gilbert Cemetery, south of Kingsville.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ronald McDonald House in Kansas City and may be left at the funeral home.
Masks and social distancing are requested.
