PATRICIA RUTH TERRY
Patricia Ruth Terry, 90, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; formerly of Holden and Warrensburg, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at John Knox Village in Lee’s Summit.
Patricia was born September 27, 1930 in St. Louis, daughter of Jack S. and Blanche M. (Dunn) Miller.
She graduated from Holden High School, Class of ‘48 and subsequently attended CMSU in Warrensburg.
She was united in marriage to William L. Terry on March 4, 1949 in Magnolia.
The couple resided in Holden and later, Warrensburg.
Bill preceded her in death in 2005. Later, Patricia lived at Benton House Assisted Living in Liberty and more recently, John Knox in Lee’s Summit.
She was previously an active member of First Baptist Church in Holden, where she sang in the choir and also taught Sunday School.
More recently, Patricia was a member of Grover Park Baptist Church in Warrensburg.
Survivors include her son, Michael L. Terry (Marilyn) of Sunrise Beach, MO; daughter, Vicki McDonald (L.D.) of Jefferson City, MO; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Michael Terry (Rachel) of Warrensburg, MO; Cynthia Michelle Terry of Lee’s Summit, MO; Kelli Renae Johnson (Rich) of Warrensburg, MO; and Tricia Ann Fleming (Travis) of Leeton, MO; nine great-grandchildren: Jacob Michael Terry (Kennedy) of Victoria, TX; Drew Michael Sommerville of Lee’s Summit, MO; Dawson Robert Sommerville of Lee’s Summit, MO; William Joseph Terry of Warrensburg, MO; Alexander Holden Terry of Warrensburg, MO and Bryson Matthew Terry of Warrensburg, MO; Bailey Raquel Fleming of Leeton, MO; Brooklynn Kathleen Fleming of Leeton, MO and Brilynn Ann Fleming of Leeton, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ann Lovell; and two brothers, Jack Miller and Thomas Miller.
There will be a private family graveside srvice at the Holden Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Randall O’Neal officiating.
