MARYLON HATHAWAY
Marylon Hathaway passed away at the Holden Manor Care Center on Friday, October 30, 2020.
She was born on March 19, 1930 on the family farm near Climax Springs, Missouri, to John Thomas Ash and Orpha L. (Adkins) Ash. Marylon married William Hathaway on May 18, 1946 in Kansas.
They resided in Tulsa while he worked as an engineer at the First National Bank after WWII until they retired to the U.P. of Michigan in 1975.
She graduated high school and had a four-year Nursing Degree from Tulsa University in Oklahoma.
She worked at hospitals in Oklahoma and Upper Michigan.
The couple moved to Holden in 1993 for medical reasons. Marylon is survived by three sisters, Lura Anderson of Escanaba, MI, Lora Froberg and Patsy Froberg, both of Rapid River, MI; two nephews; and six nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three brothers-in-law, Glenn Anderson, James and John Froberg.
Interment took place at the Holden Cemetery on November 3, 2020. The Campbell-Cast Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral.
