LOUISE ANNETTE (WATSON) TAYLOR
Louise Annette (Watson) Taylor, 79, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020, at John Knox Memory Care Facility in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Louise was born February 13, 1941 in Brewton, Alabama, the daughter of Fred and Alberta Watson.
She graduated from WS Neal High School in East Brewton and was united in marriage to William (Bill) A. Taylor on August 26, 1957. Louise traveled with Bill to Italy where he was stationed in the Army.
In 1966, they moved to Kansas City, Missouri and later to Lone Jack, Missouri, where they raised their two children. After retirement, they moved to Warsaw, Missouri and lived at Truman Lake until she moved to John Knox Village Care Center.
Louise loved cooking delicious Southern meals for her family, spending time outside tending to her vegetable and flower gardens, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister, Martha Berry (John); her daughter, Martha Gard (Mike); her son, Artie Taylor (Ileasha); five grandchildren, Lisa Stoyko (Eric), Sarah Holdmeyer (Steve), Erica Kee (Adam), Ashley Beason (Keith), and Zach Taylor (Kendra); nine great-grandchildren, Savannah, Lily, Lauren, Garrett, Ella, Hayden, Sophie, Gage, and Colt, and one more great-grandchild on the way.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; and by just four short months, her husband, Bill.
Louise will be laid to rest beside her husband of 63 years in Holland Cemetery in Castleberry, Alabama on November 28 at 11 a.m.
