KATHY ANNE (CREAGER) SLAGLE

Kathy Anne (Creager) Slagle, 68, of Holden, Missouri, formerly of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away at her home on Monday, September 28, 2020.

She was born on April 28, 1952 in Cortez, Colorado, the daughter of Omer Creager and June Duncan.

Kathy graduated from Lee’s Summit High School, the Class of 1970. She married John H. Slagle on April 11, 1970 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. She moved to Holden, MO in 2004.

Kathy was a housewife. She was a member of the Lee’s Summit Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, John H. Slagle of Holden, Missouri; step-mother, Beradine Creager of Anthony, New Mexico; daughter, Melissa Slagle of Holden, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Nelda Creager and Jackie Paterson (husband, Scott); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Omer Creager; her mother, June Duncan McCalley; step-father, Jack McCalley; her son, Jeffrey Dale Slagle; and brother, James Creager.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Campbell- Cast Funeral Home, (407 S. Pine, Holden, MO).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to John Slagle.
