MARJORIE FAYE (STAFFORD) PHILLIPS

Marjorie Faye (Stafford) Phillips, 85, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, formerly of Holden, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

She was born May 28, 1935, in Versailles, Missouri, the daughter of Lester “Pete” Stafford and Leona Griebel.

Marjorie was formerly employed as a cook at the Pleasant View Nursing Home in Harrisonville, Missouri. She had been a resident of Pleasant Hill, MO since 2014. Marjorie was a member of the Latour Presbyterian Church in Latour, Missouri.

Marjorie is survived by her son, Donald Phillips and wife Carol of Holden, MO; three daughters, Sharon McKinney of Belton, MO, Vickey Archuleta and husband Fermin of Belton, MO, and Diana Hutchings of Pleasant Hill, MO; two brothers, David Stafford and Dale Stafford; nine grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester “Pete” and Leona Stafford; her husband, Clyde Phillips, who passed away on June 28, 2012; one brother, Frank Stafford; one sister, Roslie King; and two sons-in-law, Kenny McKinney and Don Hutchings.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Campbell-Cast Funeral Home, (407 S. Pine, Holden, MO).

A graveside committal will take place at Big Rock Cemetery (18658 Big Rock Road, Barnett, MO), at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2020.
