Luck of the Draw Rescheduled For July 18
Ready for an evening of throwback fun and good food?
The Holden Area Chamber of Commerce announces it will hold its popular Luck of the Draw event that was postponed in April. Celebrate the “Roaring ’20s” with your friends on Saturday, July 18, from 6-9 p.m. at the Hallar Building.
Come dressed as a couple from the speakeasy era and have some laughs with others in the community.
There are only five tickets left for the much-anticipated event and they may be purchased at Heiman’s True Value.
All tickets bought for the April 4 event will be honored.
The original event was cancelled due to the COVID pandemic and the stay at home order.
Tickets are $100 per couple and that includes dinner for two, all you can drink, and prizes.
The Grand Prize again this year is the $2,500 cash award!
The jovial duo of Kevin Coleman and Mike Fisher will emcee the gala affair once again.
Their quick wit and unique brand of humor are sure to be a hit with the crowd!
Jamie’s Place is catering the delicious dinner and the menu includes sugared ham, twice-baked potatoes and green beans.
Organizers say, “If you don’t feel comfortable attending because of the coronavirus, your prize will be delivered to you at a later date, if you should win something.”
You won’t want to miss an evening of fun, humor, and a great food!
Don your “Roaring ‘20s” attire and make a spectacular showing!
